Message to Families and Secondary Students

Good afternoon,

Please be advised that access to MyEducation BC will be restored on Thursday, October 1 across the Burnaby School District and is anticipated to be available for use at 8 a.m. This includes both MyEd access for students and the family portal for parents and guardians.

Note that all users will be prompted to reset their passwords. If you have any issues with your password, please contact your school to follow their usual process for password issues with MyEd. We kindly ask for your patience in awaiting a response from schools, as they may be managing a large volume of requests.

We continue to work to restore remaining services as quickly and securely as possible and remain committed to keeping you updated throughout this process.

Orange Shirt Day / National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Wednesday, September 30 is Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. School is not in session. We encourage students and families to use the day for learning, connecting, and reflecting to learn more about our shared histories.

Welcoming Conversations

 

We are pleased to invite families to participate in our Welcoming Conversations on October 5 and 6.

The purpose of these meetings is to provide an opportunity for parents and caregivers to share information about their child, including their strengths, interests, experiences, and any other insights that will help us best support their learning. Building strong partnerships between home and school is an important part of ensuring that every learner’s needs are met.

Families are invited to use our online booking system to select a meeting time that works best for their schedule.
